Florala High has an interest in this event and will be re- presented there. A group of 8 students -- 4 team members and 4 alternates -- shall com- pete in this event. They will be accompanied by Mr. Jordan and possibly, Mrs. Jones. Last year, Florala High School placed 3rd in the Class A section, and naturally, this time they hope to do as well or better. From this. therefore, the title of the se- cond month of the year. Feb ruary, is derived. Today, February has muc the same meaning. Since thi month has only 28 days, ever fourth year or leap year a 29t day is added. According t folklore in Leap Year, it i proper for a woman to pro pose marriage to a man!
