She was born in Hacoda, ALI!I on November 27, 1923 to Bud Dixon Cassady and Lula Belle Smith Cassady. Willie worked at Franklin Ferguson textile industry for over 25 years. She was an active member of Fel- lowship of Love Church in Paxton, FL. She enjoyed caring for the flowers around her home in Florala. Her biggest legacy, however was the immeasurable mark she left on her son, grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Known to them as mother and Granny Willie she will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts. She was preceded in death by hus- baod, William B. Adams; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Willene Adams and their infant daugh- ter; son, Mickey Adams; and great-grandson, Jer- emiah Lewis. Survivors include son, Milford Adams and wife, Carolyn, of Florala; grandchildren, Brenda Adams, Loria Chambers (Ricky), Jeanie Sasser (Curtis), Tammie Gail Prescott, Jason Adams (Stephanie), Derrick Adams, and Nicki Jackson (Lamar Jack- son), 16 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great- grandchildren. PAUL EUGENE DAVIS December 4, 1962- February 13, 2018 Paul Eugene Davis, age 55, of Lockhart, AL, passed away February 13, 2018. He was born De- cember 4, 1962 in Lake- land, FL to A.D. and Net- tie Davis. From an early age, Paul fought many health issues. Growing ? up, he especially enjoyed being outdoors going hunting and fishing with his dad, brothers and friends. He worked briefly at Franklin Ferguson Sewing Industry, and later in the aviation field. In his later years, Paul enjoyed nothing more than being in Lockhart and visits from friends, where they could discuss everything from old times to current politics. He was preceded in death by parents, A.D. and Nettie Davis. Survivors include brothers, George (Nildena) Davis, A1 (Shelby) Davis, John Shuler, James (Sherri) Davis, Albert (Rosemary) Davis; sisters: Nancy Oney, Wanda Beck; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was bornAugust 6, 1934 in Flo- rala to Roosevelt Smith and Nola Smith. Hazel enjoyed flowers, loved cooking for her family and playing the guitar and singing with her family. Her biggest legacy, however, was the immeasur- able mark she left on her family. Known to them as Hazel, Mama, and Granny she will forever hold a dear and precious place in each of their hearts. Hazel's faith in Jesus Christ sustained her as she fought many health issues. She fought the good fight. She kept the faith. She finished the race. on Sunday mornings. Grimes and Mary Alma Spence. James proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He attended Cross Roads Assembly of God Church in Paxton. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playing his guitar and singing with his family. He was preceded in death by baby daughter, Tammy Celeste Grimes; and mother, Mary Alma Spence Grimes. DONALD "FLY" MCKINNEY [ Donald "Fly" McKin- t ney, age 71, of Andalu- sia, AL, passed away Sunday, February 18, 2018, at Andalusia Health. He owned McK- inney's Starters and Generators in Andalu- sia for over 30 years, and his hobbies includ- ed fishing, farming his land, and classic cars. He was a long-standing member of the Montezuma Classic Car Club.
