Riding on the float were Sonya Simmons, Pan Cook, Sharon Nobles, Lori Cassidy, Scott Clary, Keith York FLORALA JUNIOR CIVIC CLUB FLOAT, theme, "We've Come A Long Way". The float de- picts the working years of 1976 through the beauty years of 1876 and the leisure years of 1976. Adding to the beauty of the float were past presidents, Mrs. Joseph Cox, Mrs. John H. Vaughan, Miss Michele Holder, Mrs. Tom Pittman and Mrs. John R. Merrifield. DAFFODIL GARDEN CLUB The theme for the float was, "America the Beautiful". Grac- ing the flo~t were newly elected Little Miss and Junlor Miss 24th of June, Beth Merrifi~ld and Gay Chambers. Second runner-up; in the Junior Miss, Nina Loftin and Little Misses Amy Stafford and Sonya Pickron. FLOAT - LooldM absolutely lovely were, from left, June Lee, Miss J0ne Z4th, 1975 Junior Miss Beverly Adams, Junior Miss Florala and Miss Florala, Angela Bradley.
