DENYSE MARET LeGUYADER Nov. 21, 1920- Oct. 18, 2015 Denyse Maret LeGuyader, age 94, went on to be with the Lord on Oc- tober 18, 2015 while receiving care at the Korian Le Gentille nursing home facil- ity in Nan- cy, France. She was a nurse practitioner by trade and worked as a military nurse at Sedillot Military Hospital in Nan- cy, France for the duration of her ca- reer. At the time of her retirement she was awarded the second-highest military medal, La Croix de Guerre for her outstanding services during World War II. After her retirement she enjoyed staying at home, cooking gourmet meals, knitting, and sing- ing. She also enjoyed making several visits to Florala, Alabama to see her daughter, Michelle Mitchell, and spending time with her grandchil- dren and great-grandchildren. De- nyse was fortunate enough to have enjoyed an extended visit with her family in Florala beginning in Sep- tember 2013. During her stay she at- tended Florala First Assembly of God Church and enjoyed the company of its members. Ill health forced her re- turn laome to Nancy, France this past spring where she was able to receive care until her passing. Denyse is survived by her hus- band of 58 years, Michel LeGuyader; sister-in-law, Anne-Marie Peter (Guy Peter); daughter, Michelle Mitchell (Lavaughn Mason); grandchildren, Philip Mitchell (Sherrie Mitchell), Samantha Mitchell Dorsey (Anthony Rappaport); and great-grandchil- dren, Zachary T. Dorsey, Lauren E. Mitchell, and Leighton A. Mitchell; beloved cousin, Francoise Antoine; additional cousins, Muguette and Phillippe Conord; and three very special friends, J. Geoffrion, O[ivier Geoffrion, and Yvette Mangin. She was "preceded in death by par- ents Jules and Angele Maret; broth- ers, Henri Maret, and Camille Maret; sister, Yvonne Maret; son-in-law, Paul H. Mitchell. Her daughter, Michelle, and family would like to extend a special thanks to Brother Ray Bundy, and his wife, Amy, Gayle Cassidy, Mary Kelley, and the Florala First Assembly o0f God Church family for their love and care during Denyse's stay. Denyse was buried at Notre Dame De Lourdes Cathedral de Nan- cy and laid to rest in the Garden of Memories.
